MMM Maintain – The health check for your building

Prevention is better than cure. This is one of those pieces of wisdom that applies to many areas of life. When you get a certain age, annual health checks with your GP become the norm. As you get older, the list of things the GP looks for increases – with the end result that the GP will tell you what is functioning well, what needs improvement or repairing and what needs to be done. It is the same with your car: the scheduled service for your car is an aid to keeping your car running safely, efficiently and economically – all in aid of avoiding expensive and untimely breakdowns.

Given how important the buildings we use in our ministry are, a health check for our buildings and offices is an important aid. While it might be obvious when painting needs to be done, what about the wiring or plumbing? Is that crack superficial or a sign of something more serious?
