Tim Cranna
National Director
Tim has served MMM as the National Director Since October 2006. He is based at the Epping headquarters from where he leads MMM Australia through an exciting and challenging time. Tim is assisted by a first class Management Team; Peter Taylor, Kenneth Tie, and Anne Cooper. He is motivated by seeing individual team members grow. A recent highlight for Tim was hearing team members share at the MMM Celebration in January 10, where they told of how God has used them and their State, to serve those who serve.
Kenneth Tie
Operations Manager
Kenneth joined the MMM team as operations manager on 1 November 2009 and is currently based at the Epping Head office in Melbourne. Previously Kenneth worked for CityLife as an Operations Manager in the Missions Department. In 2010, Ken plans to be a part of what God is doing with MMM. Kenneth is motivated by what he states is the ‘MMM magic.’ A recent highlight for Kenneth was having input in bringing about the life saving surgery of an Indonesian girl in Australia.
Peter Taylor
Projects Manager
Peter has been with MMM for over five years, as the New South Wales State Manager. For the rest of 2010 he’ll operate as Projects Manager for Australia and overseas. Being involved with the new MMM Centre for New South Wales was a tremendous experience for Peter. He enjoyed sharing in the lives of others, joining in with the practicalities and seeing the building grow. Peter is motivated by the commitment and hard work of others. He is inspired to do the best he can with God’s help and some practical help from other long-time MMMers. A personal highlight for Peter was to see the enthusiasm of MMM’s State Manager get in and do without being afraid to have a go!
Nathan Velayudham
Finance Manager
In January 2010 Nathan joined MMM as finance manager at the MMM Epping Headquarters in Melbourne. A Certified Public Accountant, Nathan executes various financial and accounting duties.
For Nathan, being able to wake up each day and have an impact on various people groups and churches is rewarding. Nathan says although he cannot be in an ‘avatar body’ for frontline action, providing back-end support to MMM’s ‘avatar mobile soldiers’ both in Australia and around the world is very exciting.
Jane Bayliss
Prayer Co-ordinator
Jane joined MMM in 2005 and is currently in the role of prayer co-ordinator. This year Jane hopes to spend one day a week at the Epping office, for fellowship and prayer with other staff and visit more prayer fellowships. In 2010, Jane and her husband Owen are looking forward to rebuilding their home, as the house plans are nearly ready. Seeing God answer prayers in unexpected ways inspires Jane to seek a closer relationship with God, to serve him and be a part of helping to enlarge his kingdom. A recent highlight for Jane was attending a Black Saturday Ceremony to give four, Year 12 students, a certificate and cheque for an educational scholarship. The Scholarship is set up in Jane’s parent’s name, by the children’s charity, Variety. This is to honour Jane’s father, who was a founding patron, and her mother. Jane’s parents both tragically died in the February 7 bushfires.
Noel Taylor
Special Projects & Technical Manager
Noel has been with MMM for over eight years and is currently a member of the Victorian State Committee. He has travelled with work teams to Darwin and then East Timor for a housing project. These projects led to the manufacturing of steel framing at the MMM Headquarters in Melbourne. In 2010, Noel plans to crate and organize the transport of two roll forming machines to New Zealand for repairs and reconditioning. Further into the year he also plans to send one of these machines to the MMM Centre in Zambia. Noel feels privileged to serve God in a practical way and finds it rewarding helping people in need. Recently he enjoyed a visit to Queensland to assist the team get started with assembling steel frames for ten new cabins at Boys Brigade.
Geoff BannerFull time Mobile
- works out of New South Wales
Geoff joined MMM fulltime in October 2009 as a mobile staff member. Geoff is rarely at his home in Sydney, but feels God has blessed him with the people he works with and the projects he’s involved in. To date, one of the most rewarding jobs for Geoff was working on a house for long term missionaries in Victoria. The stories they shared and their love for Christ really affirmed for Geoff that his role in MMM is where God wants him. Geoff looks forward to what God has planned for his future and for the missions desire to get more young people involved.
Charles & Robyn Stokes
Full time Mobile
Charles and Robyn Stokes are now in their seventh year as full time Mobiles for MMM. The couple plan to remain in this role and to be of a practical assistance to ministries in need. Charles and Robyn find motivation through the word of God. Matthew 25:40 “The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me’. A recent highlight for the couple was working at John and Bronwyn Bain’s place and hearing their stories from their many years of service in Bolivia.
Darrel & Glenys House
State Managers Northern Territory
Darrel and Glenys have served MMM in the Northern Territory for the past eight years. They are living in the MMM Centre in Farrar, Palmerston near Darwin City. Prior to this appointment, they worked with MMM in Perth, Western Australia as both mobiles and centre managers. This year, they are excited about the opportunities to serve with the Safari team in remote areas of the Top End including Maningrida. Darrel and Glenys are enthused by using the gifts that God has given to serve other Christians. They believe these gifts enable them to follow God’s calling.
Brenton Cornish
State Representative South Australia
Brenton is currently the South Australian Representative for MMM. He joined MMM in 1996 when he participated in a Mission Awareness Trip to Manilla, Hong Kong and Southern China. With God’s help, Brenton intends to promote the work of MMM in South Australia, co-ordinate labour for work projects and encourage prayerful support for the mission. He finds inspiration through working as a team to spread the Gospel by way of supporting missionaries and pastors through building repairs and extensions. A recent highlight for Brenton was the MMM project Lantau Island in Hong Kong Harbour, where he assisted in the rebuilding of a camp damaged by a typhoon. Brenton feels blessed by the Lord in gaining new friends and creating a real interest in the culture of our Asian neighbours.
Anthony & Siska Hocking
MMM Thailand Managers
Anthony & Siska have been involved with MMM for over seven years and having moved on from MMM Western Australia, they are now establishing themselves in Chiang Rai in MMM Thailand centre. The duo enjoys the practicality of MMM and the fact MMM are such a ministry. People and the relationships that transpire motivate Anthony and Siska in their role.
John & Anne CooperState Managers Queensland
The Coopers have been involved with MMM for four years and in 2007, they became state managers for Queensland. This year, the Coopers will continue to serve the Lord in Queensland and encourage people to get involved in mission. Anne is looking forward to being on the Australian management team, working with the guys and facing new challenges. She finds inspiration through talking with others and seeing people on fire for the Lord. John is motivated by opportunities to serve the Lord with his talents. A recent highlight for John was having new people get involved with the Glengarry Boys Brigade project.
Graham & Gloria Scott
Area Managers North Queensland
Graham and Gloria served as State Managers in Western Australia for a short term before becoming State Managers for Tasmania in 2004. Gloria was involved very loyally with the Auxiliary. For 2010, the Scotts plan to pioneer a new MMM satellite centre for MMM in Townsville. The Scott’s want to see God’s Kingdom grow. They want people to hear of God’s love and come into His family. A recent highlight for the Scott’s was working with Teen Challenge and having the opportunity to share their testimony with a non-Christian couple.
Frank & Geraldine Tyres
State Managers Tasmania
Frank and Geraldine have been Associates with MMM since 2005 and Frank has served as Chairperson of the State Committee since 2008. They’re currently located in Tasmania to take over Graham and Gloria’s role of coordinating activities. Since moving from Ulverstone on the north-west coast at the end of January, they have attended the ‘Staff Conference’ in Melbourne and commenced schooling for their three little grandchildren. Both Frank and Geraldine are requesting prayer during these transitional times.
Lyndon & Kelly Bell
State Managers New South Wales
Lyndon and Kelly are new to the role of State Managers in New South Wales. Kelly and Lyndon, together with their children, Emily and Charlie are currently located at the MMM centre at Wyee in New South Wales. For 2010, the Bells plan to learn aspects of assessing, planning and recruiting for MMM projects. The couple is motivated by the fantastic work that takes place under the name, MMM. A recent highlight for Lyndon was sharing about MMM at a Men’s Convention in Glen Innes, Northern New South Wales.
