Letter from the Director

The Rise of the Gospel

Tim CrannaIt is all too easy to believe that in our First world, consumer driven society – few are responding to the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. The fact is that many people are coming to know Jesus Christ, both in Australia and abroad. Many are hungry for the Gospel and are responding to the Good News message of our Lord Jesus Christ.

MMM marvels at the privilege it has to be involved with those who are preaching the Gospel, both here and abroad. Throughout 2009 MMM has been building and maintaining a number of Christian facilities. This has enabled those preaching the Gospel to do so without additional maintenance concerns. So thank you for your prayer and financial support, which helped to make that happen.

Since last writing to you, we have decided to sell our property at Whittlesea and plan to develop a mission hub facility, from which a number of missions and MMM will operate. This will take some years to develop but we will stay at our interim premises in Epping, Victoria, until the new facility is available.

We are excited that MMM Queensland is expanding to Townsville, early next year  – more about this in the February edition of MMM News. On the staff front, Geoff Banner is joining our staff in New South Wales next year. At the time of your receiving this, a MMM team will be operating in Thailand. MMM South Africa is involved in a significant housing project in East London. Erin & Annemarie Shaw, together with Geoff Banner are on a work team to the Solomon Islands.

MMM Australia (and the MMM National Centres for which it cares) is achieving great things for God. Thank you for your ongoing support. May Christ remain the centre of your life – particularly during the upcoming holiday season.

Yours in Him

Tim Cranna
