Australian Indigenous Christian Ministries

This coming April will see a team heading north to the Queensland border to Woodenbong, about 100 kilometers inland from the coast on the Queensland-New South Wales border.

AICM are a small minstry involved with training and equipping leaders in the Christian community. After doing a significant amount of work over the past two years on their Woodenbong office, they find themselves in need of MMM volunteers to finish the fitout of their building.

Sherwood Cliffs Ministry – Glenreagh

Once again, Sherwood Cliffs has asked for general maintenance assistance and MMM is eager to help this important minstry as it endeavours to minister those with addictions and life struggles.

Paul Barnham is forming a team for this late April-May project where there is always lots of general maintenance and repairs that need to be done.

River Life Church – Henty

With significant and numerous ministries to the communities around the Murray River, near Albury-Wodonga, River Life church is making a real difference into people’s lives and proclaiming Jesus’ Gospel to many.

If enough people are interested, this project is looking to start in late June, with a variety of skills needed to help this Church build a large deck for their outreachand community activities. The MMM 2013 Safari is about to get underway with nearly 20 couples coming for a part or the whole journey. With over a dozen projects scheduled from April until October and covering most of Northern Australia from Halls Creek in the North West to Townsville in the North East, and Darwin at the Top and Port Pirie in the South, it would be great if you could be involved in this amazing service for the Gospel.

Lead by Phil and Gwen Hall, this Safari will welcome any and all support in prayer and team participation with most skills needed somewhere on the way.

The Schedule is:
April 8th-19th in Port Pirie, and then up to Katherine for three separate projects from May 2nd.

A split into two teams as they cover further jobs in Northern Territory including Ladjamanu, and Kalkaringi for much of June and into July. The two teams will also head to Halls Creek – the AOG Church and the Peoples Church.

Returning to Darwin and Croker Island for July and August, there will also be August work in Mt Isa.

September and October also sees further Queensland work in Normanton, Mareeba and Townsville.
